Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs, boneless
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 2 tablespoons sake
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Green onions, sliced
Instructions

Marinate chicken in half the soy sauce for 30 minutes

Mix remaining soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, ginger, and garlic

Grill chicken over medium heat, basting with marinade

Cook for 6-8 minutes per side until done

In a small pan, simmer teriyaki sauce until thickened

Mix cornstarch and water, add to sauce to thicken

Brush chicken with thick teriyaki sauce

Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions
