Classic Meatloaf with Glaze

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • For glaze: 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard powder

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F, soak breadcrumbs in milk

Sauté onion and garlic until soft, cool

Mix ground beef, soaked breadcrumbs, eggs, and sautéed vegetables

Form into loaf in baking dish

Mix all glaze ingredients, brush half over meatloaf

Bake 45 minutes, brush with remaining glaze, bake 15 more minutes
